Antigoni Buxton Brings the Island Heat to Eurovision 2026

Cyprus is heading to Eurovision - and this year, it’s going to be fiery!

We’re thrilled to see Antigoni Buxton officially confirmed to represent Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna, Austria.

The Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation has proudly announced that Cyprus will be represented at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest by ANTIGONI.

The semi-finals are set for May 12 and 14, with the Grand Final on May 16 - and we’ll be watching, cheering, and definitely grilling.

For us at Cyprus BBQ, this isn’t just about music. It’s a celebration of Cypriot pride - family, flavour, and that unbeatable island spirit that brings people together wherever they are.

Antigoni Buxton: Carrying Cyprus in Her Sound

Born and raised in London to a Cypriot family, Antigoni has always blended modern pop with her island roots.

Her songs carry that warm, emotional heartbeat that feels instantly familiar to anyone who calls Cyprus home.

From her early days on SoundCloud to performing across Europe and collaborating with top Greek artists, Antigoni has carved her own creative path.

Now, she’s taking that energy to the Eurovision stage - bringing Cyprus to one of the world’s biggest audiences.
