UK BBQ Week 2023 starts on Monday 1st May and at Cyprus BBQ we are super excited to join in the celebration of outdoor cooking! This year's event features eight exciting themes, offering plenty of opportunities to showcase your BBQ skills and creativity.
Monday 1st May
We invite you to Fire Up your BBQ and Cook the Books. So light the coals on your Cyprus BBQ Foukou, choose your favourite Greek or Cypriot Recipe Book and prepare a delicious feast on your Cyprus Rotisserie BBQ.

Tuesday 2nd May
Celebrate World Cooks and showcase BBQ dishes inspired by cultures from around the world. You can cook so many different things on your Cyprus rotisserie BBQ, from shish kebabs to souvla and souvlakia. Try different international marinades and spices from around the world to mix up the taste. Jerk chicken or delicious lamb tikka, simply load up your skewers and experiment.
Wednesday 3rd May
Wing Wednesday, Wings & Things ideas. Whether it's spicy marinated chicken wings served with a selection of dips and fries or pork belly bites, let your creativity take flight and share your recipes with us.
Thursday 4th May
The 4th of May is also known as Star Wars Day, and we're encouraging you to embrace the Dark Side. Will you make Darth Burger or BBQ'd lasagna with lots of meaty Leia's? The choice is yours, and may the force be with you or how we Cypriots say - May the Souvla be with you !!

Friday 5th May
Fish on a Friday returns this year, featuring all seafood and fish dishes. Get creative with fresh catches like sea bream, sea bass, squid, cuttlefish or octopus. Cooking any type of fish or seafood on a Cyprus BBQ foukou is easy with one of our stainless steel flat grills or rotating fish grills.
Saturday 6th May
The big event of the year is the Coronation Day. King Charles's Coronation will be celebrated with street parties and barbecue parties all around the UK and these will continue all over the long Bank Holiday weekend. Why not create a Souvla BBQ feast fit for a king or a royal feast fit for the occasion.

Sunday 7th May
Today is all about Sunday Lunch and Pudding. Whether you prefer traditional lamb or a lighter BBQ dish. For us the best Sunday Lunch is always Souvla with family and friends.
Share your delicious creations with us and show us your Souvla and favourite Cypriot desserts.
At the end of a BBQ, while the coals are still hot, we love to put a couple of pineapples on the skewers, just add a little icing sugar and cinnamon they are delicious
Monday 8th May
Finally, on Bank Holiday Monday, it's time to prepare a Bank Holiday BBQ picnic. From halloumi skewers to souvlaki or gyros wraps, let's share our favourite Mediterranean -inspired picnic foods.
As always, the Cyprus BBQ team will be getting behind UK BBQ Week on social media sharing recipes and tips for you to try out.
