Chilli & Lime King Prawns with Vegetable Skewers

Prawn with Lime Chilli Dressing and Indian Spiced Paneer and Vegetable Skewers 


For the fourth in our delicious series of recipes from Celebrity Chef and UK Masterchef Theo Michaels we bring you some Chilli & Lime King prawns with Vegetable Skewers.

Serves 3-4

Chilli & Lime King Prawn Skewers with Vegetable Skewers


1 kg prawns, with shell and heads still on

Lime Chilli dressing

Juice 1 lime 

Generous pinch chilli flakes

½ tsp honey

Pinch salt

Vegetable Skewers 

Tenderstem Broccoli 




Red peppers

Paneer Cheese (optional during periods of Fast)

1 tbsp curry powder

A drizzle of olive oil 

Pinch salt

Chilli & Lime King prawns with Vegetable Skewers


Mix all the chilli and lime ingredients together and serve in a small dipping dish. 

Thread the prawns onto the skewers going through the tail first then head to hold them in place.

Cut all the vegetables into approximately 2-inch cubes, including the paneer, toss the vegetables and Panneer in the olive oil and season with a pinch of salt. Dust the paneer in the curry powder before skewering all the vegetables and cheese.

Place the skewers onto the barbecue, turn the motor on and cook for about 10 minutes or until the prawns have turned pink and the vegetables are lightly coloured. 

Once cooked, peel the prawns and dip into the chilli lime dressing!
